We're proud to announce that Update 1.1 is now available for download! We've also posted exclusive screenshots for gtaforums in the "Update 1.1 Official Screenshots" tab. Bear in mind, the update includes a new main.scm, so you will need to start a fresh new game. Old saves will not work.

1:The Petrol Pumps are Restored in the 1.1 Update.
2 Uniqe Yellow Car colors for Grand theft auto mission is already know.
Only need a Scripter who can edit the missions.(our last scripy man was a buster)
3 Black Pantlantic is Not yet featured but soon in the next update (change in the carcorls.dat)
4 Never know that there was an earlier version of the lift.(Might look into).
Job Interview is a placeholder name for the Bling-Bling Scramble. (will done this)
6 We will just stick with the cheetah's on the turismo races.(Diablo Stallions won't existed yet on the E3
Builds and the photos were taken from an August Build wich we are not insterested in.
7 Plummet Billboards are added on 1.1 update/Theses Police enforcers are same as a cutscene version.
But the E3 Version has Blue Enforcers so.This Varriant will never get a place in our mod.

The yellow cars in "Grand Theft Auto" mission could be used in the next update. Also the "Job Interview" mission name and the Diablos Stallion for the race mission. Will definitely look into those things and put them in the mod.
As for the blue radar, that's the August build.

This is the god damn build wich i've been working since me and Melted started this reboot
Orginally the fully re-made version of the building was planned to be in the earlier releases of the mod

You might using a pirated version.Try finding a crack for the v1.1 version of the game,if not working (still can't access the game)
then try find a link or a torrent wich has two iso images,GTA3_AUDIO and GTA3_INSTALL.
Mount the GTA3_AUDIO Image and let's see.. (on Win10 right click and mount or on Win7 and under classes,use deamon tools)

I believe I mentioned this a couple of years back, but why not just do the beta "GTA 64" route for GTA III? GTA 64 being a cancelled port of GTA to the N64 with such additions as better graphics and more locations. according to IGN... The Beta assets of GTA III have a fairly low poly/quality look to them so I would assume they would fit in with GTA 1's Map Aesthetic rather nicely
Remaking GTA 1 using GTA III's engine. It would turn a lot of heads and not only invoke a sense of nostalgia for those who grew up with the older games, but also it would give people a new way to play the original GTA.
I already publically released the GTA 1 maps in 3DS Max format. so that part would be taken care of. along with Converted radio stations & GTA London 1969/1961 maps.

I don't think they will do that. Afterall this mod's main focus is GTA3 BETA.

Im completely aware of what this project is focused on. I just dont see any point in it due to the number of active GTA III beta mods currently being worked on specifically GTA 3D and GTA3: First Builds. one of which Meltedsox was originally a part of.Killa Fonic wrote:I don't think they will do that. Hey, Melted, when i did exactly you said on the "IMPORTANT.txt", then I installed the mod to my GTA3 directory, but when i launched my game, (start new game), it gave me this error:
"Unhandled Exception: c0000005
At address: 005a20b7"
Please help! (My game is 1.1 since installment, My directory is C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\ GTAIII)

try deleting your GTA 3 User folder in Documents, see if that works.

Not so sure, honestly. I do not want to kill off the mod, but life is kicking my A** lately to the point I don't really have any free time to work on the mod. So I can say it's on pause right now.

the Alpha and Beta version of GTA III are more or less interchangeable as the differences are negligible at best.
would much rather see the GTA 1 maps ported to III

Hi everyone,
Happy New Year! As you know, I've been gone since May 2017. The reason of my departure is because things got heavy here. I wasn't getting much time to work on the mods. I had so much shit going on.
Another major reason for my departure is like what Dan said, I'm a "busta." Dan and I didn't left in bad terms, I just vanished and didn't explain to him anything that was going on. The one thing that stopped me was my bad reputation from the past (2014) after the release of the shitty Alpha Version Mod 2.0. But in 2016, I made a comeback to reboot the Beta Version Mod which was a mod that we recreated and follow GTA 3 beta that was shown at e3 2001. It turned out very successful, but then, one thing happened.. in early 2017, in the middle of developing a fix version of Alpha Version Mod (which dan is doing now), things turned upside down again. I was receiving major backlashes and threats. I couldn't handle any critics... I lost hope for the mods. Not only I lost hope, I was getting a tight schedule in my personal life that I didn't have anytime to work on the mods anymore. I just said fuck it all and vanished. And I am a busta for not mentioning anything to Dan. Dan was a modder who was trying to put a name out for himself and learning how to mod at the time. But he did one heck of a job and I appreciated him and respect him for all his hard work. As you know now,
GTA 3 Alpha Version Mod is back, but none of the work was done by me, it was all Dan and the two other modders he's working with.
As for I you may ask? This busta is making a comeback and Grand Theft Auto III Beta Version Mod will be back in development (only if you guys want me to). I will work on the mod alone unless Dan wants join forces again or anybody would be great. I'm going to continue and resume development where I left off.

The reason for this is because I've been having a heavy schedule in my personal life which means I couldn't spare any for the mods. I'm sorry for my absence. I do, however, want to discuss to you all that I've been having thoughts about bringing the mod back to life and continue where I left off. This is not an official announcement that I will work on the mods, but, it is in consideration. I thank each and everyone of you for your on going support. I will definitely love to hear all your feedbacks.
